By installing the Lalu mobile app or using our Services in any way, you accept this Privacy Policy and the terms under which we process your personal data. This document explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it and how you can have it deleted.
In short: we do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising. Your health data is never used for advertising. You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data at any time.
1. Who processes your data
- Company: «Bee Alley» LLC
- Tax ID (STIR/INN): 308549575
- Address: 12 Shoʻrtepa street, Konimex district, Navoiy region, 210500, Republic of Uzbekistan
- Contact: support.lalufamily.com/en
2. What we collect
We collect only what the app needs to work. You enter most of this yourself and can change it at any time.
2.1. Account and contact details
- Name, username and profile photo (if you upload one)
- Phone number and/or email address — used to sign you in
- Date of birth
- Region and district, if you provide them
- If you sign in with Google, Apple or Telegram — the identifier, name and email those services return to us (Telegram sign-in also provides your phone number)
2.2. Health-related data (special category)
Lalu is a cycle, pregnancy and baby-care app, so some of what you enter is sensitive health information. We treat it with particular care and use it only to provide the service to you:
- Menstrual cycle: your goal (avoiding pregnancy, trying to conceive, or tracking), contraception method, period start dates and length, cycle length, mood, symptoms, sexual activity entries, basal body temperature, ovulation test results and your personal notes
- Pregnancy: due date and term, weight and height, pregnancy status, and — where recorded — an indicator that a pregnancy was lost
- Labour preparation: kick-counting and contraction-timing sessions
- Your baby: name, sex, date and time of birth, weight and height measurements, sleep, feeding and diaper logs, vaccination records
- Personal records: your diary entries and the photos you add to “Moments”
2.3. Content you create
- Community questions, answers and attached images
- Direct messages and any files attached to them
- Survey answers, article comments, clinic reviews and ratings
- Points, achievements and activity history
- In partner mode — the link to your partner and the viewing permissions you grant
2.4. Device and technical data
- Operating system name and version, device model, app version
- Language and time-zone settings
- Push notification token
- A stable device identifier (see section 3)
- For email sign-in — the IP address the request came from (kept 7 days)
We do not collect your precise (GPS) location.
2.5. Subscription data
Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store or Google Play. Those stores handle the payment; we never see or store your card details. We keep only the order and entitlement record confirming that your subscription is active.
3. Device identifiers and abuse prevention
To keep the community safe, the app assigns a stable identifier to your device and records which accounts have signed in on it. This helps us prevent spam, repeated rule-breaking, and the creation of new accounts to evade a restriction. If an account seriously breaks the community rules, the restriction may also apply to other accounts linked to the same device.
4. Why we use your data
- To provide the core features: cycle and pregnancy calculations, reminders and personalised content
- To create your account and let you sign in securely
- To send notifications and reminders (you can turn these off in your device settings)
- To activate and maintain your subscription
- To answer your support requests
- To find and fix errors and improve the app’s stability and quality
- To keep the community safe and enforce our rules
We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with third parties for advertising.
5. Who we share data with
We use the following service providers to run the app. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:
- Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging) — your device token and the notification text, to deliver push notifications
- Google Sign-In, Sign in with Apple, Telegram — to authenticate you
- SMS provider — to send a verification code to your phone number
- Amazon SES — to send sign-in links and service emails
- Apple App Store / Google Play and RevenueCat — to process and validate subscription purchases
- Sentry — to monitor technical errors. It is specifically configured not to receive personal data
- Our support centre — your name, contact detail and account reference, so we can handle your request
We may also disclose data to competent authorities where required by applicable law.
Important: we do not use your data to train artificial intelligence models and we do not send it to third-party AI services. Image checks in the community section run on our own servers. Files and photos you upload are stored on our own servers.
6. Where your data is stored
Our main database and uploaded files are stored on our own servers. Because the providers listed above (Google, Apple, Sentry and others) are international companies, data sent to them may be processed on servers located outside the Republic of Uzbekistan and outside your country of residence.
7. How long we keep data
- Data in your account — for as long as your account exists
- In-app notifications — 14 days
- Email sign-in links (and the related IP address) — 7 days
- Telegram sign-in sessions — 24 hours
- Purchase and accounting records — for the period required by law, including after your account is deleted
8. Deleting your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time. The procedure, and exactly what is deleted and what is kept, is set out on the Delete account page.
In short: your request is reviewed by our team and completed within 30 days. Deletion removes your profile, cycle, pregnancy, baby, diary and photo data. Purchase records required by law are kept, and some public content (such as clinic reviews) may remain with your name removed.
9. Your rights
- Access your data and request a copy
- Correct inaccurate data (most of it can be edited in the app)
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw your consent — you may stop using the app at any time
- Turn off push notifications in your device or app settings
To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the support centre. Please write from the phone number or email address linked to your account so we can verify the request.
10. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, disclosure and loss: data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), payment tokens are stored encrypted, and internal access is restricted. Even so, no system on the internet can guarantee absolute security. Please keep your sign-in codes private and be careful on untrusted public Wi-Fi.
11. Children and age requirement
The Service is intended for adults (18 years and older). People under 18 may use it with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data directly from children.
Information about a baby (name, date of birth, measurements and so on) is entered voluntarily by the parent or guardian. It is used only to provide the service and never for advertising, and you can delete it in the app at any time.
12. Not medical advice
Calculations, calendar predictions and articles in the app are provided for information only and do not replace examination, diagnosis or treatment by a qualified doctor. Always consult a healthcare professional about decisions concerning your health.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update shown above. We will give additional notice in the app about significant changes.
14. Contact
For any privacy question, request or complaint, contact us at support.lalufamily.com/en.
