This page explains how to request deletion of your Lalu account, what is deleted, and what we have to keep.
Before you start: cancel your subscription
Important: deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription. If you have a paid subscription, cancel it first — otherwise the store will keep charging you.
- App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Lalu → Cancel Subscription.
- Google Play: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Lalu → Cancel subscription.
Request deletion
Fill in the form below. Use the email address or phone number linked to your account — we can only act on a request we are able to match to an account.
You can also send the request through our support centre.
How long it takes
Your request is reviewed by our team and completed within 30 days. Once it is done, you will no longer be able to sign in and the account cannot be restored.
What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, username, profile photo, phone number, email address and date of birth
- Cycle data: settings, period logs, daily logs, symptoms and notes
- Pregnancy data, weight tracking, kick-counting and contraction records
- Baby data: name, date of birth, measurements, sleep, feeding and vaccination records
- Your diary entries and the photos in “Moments”
- Direct messages and your community questions and answers
- Points, achievements, partner links and notification settings
What we keep, and why
- Purchase and accounting records — records of payments are kept for the period required by law. This is a legal obligation we cannot waive.
- Clinic reviews you wrote — these may remain visible because they help other users, but they are detached from your account and your name is no longer shown.
- Moderation records — if your account was restricted for breaching the community rules, we may keep the minimum record needed to prevent repeat abuse.
Deleting the app is not enough
Removing the app from your phone does not delete your account or the data stored on our servers. To have your data deleted, you must send a request as described above.
